There are 8 parks across the borough with tennis courts.
Courts are available in:
- Bishops Park - 12 adult courts and 4 junior courts
- Brook Green - 3 adult courts and 2 junior courts
- Eelbrook Common - 2 adult courts
- Hammersmith Park - 2 adult courts
- Hurlingham Park - 3 adult courts
- Normand Park - 3 adult courts and 2 junior courts
- Ravenscourt Park - 7 adult courts
- South Park - 4 adult courts
How to book a tennis court
Visit the Play Tennis in H&F website to book a tennis court online at the following parks:
- Brook Green
- Eelbrook Common
- Hurlingham Park
- Ravenscourt Park
- South Park
The website also provides details on how to play at the following 3 parks, as well as information on tennis activities that are available to residents.
Bishops Park: The courts are managed by Rock's Lane Multi Sports Centre.
Hammersmith Park: The tennis courts are available for free so you can just turn up and play.
Normand Park: The courts are managed by Virgin Active Fulham Pools. Bookings can be made by calling 020 7471 0450 or in person at the leisure centre. The centre also offer discounts to non-members on coaching courses. Email fulham.racquets@virginactive.co.uk for details.
Pay & Play tennis
You can book a court on the day (up to 24 hours in advance) at Play Tennis in H&F. You will be asked to complete a simple registration and then select the venue and the time you want to play.
The court fee is £13.30 per hour for adults.
Advance bookings
Due to the very high demand to book courts we have updated the online booking system to help members with their advance bookings. Members can still book up to 1 week in advance, but now the next available day will appear from 9pm each night, rather than midnight, as it had previously.
Advance bookings are available at:
- Eelbrook Common
- Hurlingham Park
- Ravenscourt Park
- South Park.
To make advance bookings you need to register for a free membership.
You can apply for membership at the Play Tennis in H&F.
Membership will allow you to book a court up to 7 days in advance, for a reduced fee of £9.90.
- Adults (members) £9.90 + £4.20 for floodlights
- Adults (non-members or Pay & Play) £13.30 + £4.20 for floodlights
Free tennis in the four parks is available between 7am and 9am, Monday to Sunday (except for coaching). Free courts can only be booked up to 7 days in advance.

Juniors Pay & Play
Child bookings can be made within 24 hours of play, for a reduced court fee of £4.70 plus £4.20 for floodlights. You are required to complete a simple registration form, via the membership options on the membership page of the Play Tennis in H&F website.
Cancelling a booking
You can cancel your booking through your account on Play Tennis in H&F. If you cancel your booking up to 24 hours before your booking date, you will receive an automatic refund. No refund will be provided if you cancel within 24 hours.

Hammersmith & Fulham Tennis League
A friendly, mixed sex singles league for adult players of all standards runs all year on the public courts in Hammersmith and Fulham. Everyone is welcome. Players have eight weeks to play a maximum of seven matches which they arrange themselves at a time and place to suit.
Everyone who joins can get free British Tennis Membership worth £25, which gives you a rating and automatic entry to the Wimbledon ballot. Those who come top of their group win £20 and everyone who completes three matches by the half-way mark is sent a free can of tennis balls. One player said: “I've had some fun matches and met some great people.”
Tennis coaching in our parks
Tennis coaching in our parks is only allowed with our registered tennis coaches and must be booked direct with the coaches. Their information is available in each park on the tennis courts or you can call us to get more information.
