How to report an issue
When you have installed the app on your smartphone, you'll have the option to open it, and then you'll be taken through the on-boarding screens.
Part of the se-up process is to select 'Hammersmith & Fulham' as the Home Authority.
Once you are set up:
- Set the location
- Take a photo
- Pick the category
- Submit the report
Your report will automatically get sent to the relevant team at Hammersmith & Fulham.
Alternatively, you can add a report through the H&F Love Clean Streets (H&FLCS) website. Once on the website you have the option to create an account or report a problem without logging in. Look for the ‘Report Now’ button just below the log in box.

The benefits of logging in
The LCS smartphone app requires you to confirm your email address and all your reports will be stored in the app for you to refer to. If you register and log into the LCS website with the same email address you will be able to see all the reports you have made.
Geo-location and reporting your location accurately
If you have geo-location activated on your phone the map will automatically centre on your location. This is to make it easier to report issues when you are out and about. So, for example, if you see a overflowing litter bin you can report it there and then and the map will automatically show your location. But if you want to report a missed bin collection when you are not at home, you will need to make sure you pick the location.
Whether at home or out and about, if you know the location address, rather than dropping the pin on the map, you can type the first line of the address and this will take you to the exact location.
This is often a better way to report an issue, especially if you live in H&F but close to the borders with another borough. Our neighbouring boroughs also use Love Clean Streets and your report may be sent to them if the pin is not located in the right place.
Reporting problems in parks
If you want to report a problem a park and are not actually in the park, please select the location first by positioning the pin in the park location on the map. Then select the category from the categories drop down list. If your pin is within a park's boundaries, you will see the park's categories, if the pin is not in the park, you will not see the parks categories.
Broken streetlights
If you want to report a broken streetlight, it is really helpful if you can include the streetlight number which you will find on every streetlight.
Seeing other people's reports
We do not publish the report details for data protection reasons. However, you can view what has been reported nearby on the live map or when creating a report.
