Emissions based parking charges

Parking charges in H&F are linked to vehicle emissions. Emissions based charging will support the council’s objectives within the Climate Emergency Action Plan and Air Quality Action Plan, helping to reduce CO₂ emissions and improving air quality.

RingGo pay-by-phone/e-parking payments for low C02 emissions vehicles: 

• £3 per hour (£1.50 per half hour, 75p for 15mins)

RingGo pay-by-phone/e-parking payments for high C02 emissions vehicles:

• £5 per hour (£2.50 per half hour, £1.25 for 15mins)
• Surcharge for diesel vehicles: plus £1 per hour

Roadside pay and display machine payments for all fuel types:

• £6 per hour (£3 per half hour, £1.50 for 15mins)

Check your vehicle emissions

• Low CO2 emissions (g/km) - A-C - 0 to 75g/km
• High CO2 emissions (g/km) - D-M - 76<>+226g/km
