We’re looking forward to celebrating International Day of Disabled People on Tuesday 3 December – and we’d love you to help us out. Join us!

On the day itself, we’re holding a special event in Hammersmith with community partners, featuring some great speakers, and a dance piece performed by the Action on Disability youth troupe.

It will all be tied together by the theme of the evening: The Future is Accessible. If you want to be there, let us know!

Tell us how to improve things for Disabled People

Before that, we’ll be recruiting to our new Resident Access co-production implementation group (RACIG) – which will help shape the ways that residents can access services in the borough for years to come.

Do you have the experiences and views to help this the most accessible borough for Disabled People? Let us know.

Over coming weeks we’ll be speaking to people from across the borough about joining our new group, and there will be an update on recruitment at the International Day of Disabled People event on 3 December.

“This is all part of our commitment to putting Disabled People at the heart of decision-making in the borough,” said Cllr Sue Fennimore, Deputy Leader of Hammersmith & Fulham Council. “The event is also an opportunity to have a bit of fun.”

So, why not join us on 3 December for an evening packed with good company and jubilant revelry? Or, why not why not sign-up to our panel?
