Housing Improvement Programme

We have been working with residents to improve our online housing services.

As part of our commitment to Doing things with residents, not to them, we have been working with residents to improve our online housing services.

In the first phase of improvements we have launched Housing Online. Housing Online is a quick and convenient way to access housing services.

Residents and housing applicants can log in to Housing Online from any internet connected device. It means no more waiting on the phone or visiting our offices to get simple things done.  Housing Online can be accessed on the move from a smartphone or from home on your sofa.

Housing Online is available to council tenants and households on H&F’s housing register. Through Housing Online’s Bid for a Home portal, housing applicants can manage their rehousing journey, view properties that are available to let, make a bid for a new home and check on the outcome of the bids you have made.

A Housing Online account enables residents and housing applicants to view and manage their rent accounts, update contact details, receive messages from H&F, report issues to the council and upload documents and photos to their account.

Housing Online extends the services available in H&F’s My Account which already provides quick and secure online access to many of our services including council tax and benefits.
