Housing Improvement Programme

We have been working with residents to improve our online housing services.

As part of our commitment to Doing things with residents, not to them, we have been working with residents to improve our online housing services.

In the first phase of improvements we will be launching Housing Online. Housing Online is a quick and convenient way to access housing services.

Residents and housing applicants will be able to log in to Housing Online from any internet connected device. It means no more waiting on the phone or visiting our offices to get simple things done.  Housing Online can be accessed on the move from a smartphone or from home on your sofa.

Initially, Housing Online is being made available to households on H&F’s housing register. Through Housing Online’s Bid for a Home portal housing applicants can manage their rehousing journey, view properties that are available to let, make a bid for a new home and check on the outcome of the bids you have made.

A Housing Online account enables residents and housing applicants to update contact details, receive messages from H&F, report issues to the council and upload documents and photos to their account.

Housing Online extends the services available in H&F’s My Account and provides quick and secure online access to many of our services including council tax and benefits.

Coming up

We are developing more online services into the same system, including:

  • Reporting housing repairs and making and changing appointments with our repairs contractors
  • Checking rent account balances, downloading statements, as well as making rent payments online

Get involved

We still want your feedback to help us with the development of the new services and would love to hear the valuable points of view of more of our residents in future. If you are interested and would like to get involved, visit Resident involvement and sign up.
