Get hands on at this circular economy and fashion upcycling event that blends climate science with the opportunity the repair and re-style one of your own garments.
Old Oak Community Centre gardening club

Join a volunteer group with HCGA at the community centre to work in the garden. Help out with planting, tending to plants and weeding.

Come along and join Thames21 as a river citizen scientist on the River Thames. Together, you'll be collecting the litter we find and categorising it into sewage derived litter, plastic items, and other litter. This effort helps to determine the quantity of litter turning up along the river side and to investigate which litter category is the biggest problem.
Suitable to anyone over the age of 10. Children need to be accompanied by an adult. Wear suitable footwear (wellies or boots)!

Help with the upkeep of the farm including seed sowing, planting, harvesting and watering.
Thursday evening and Saturday morning sessions (10am-1pm) are drop-in and are for families and adults. Stay for an hour or stay for the whole session!
Tools and gloves provided. Just wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty!
