Homes for Ukraine

The Homes for Ukraine scheme allows individuals to offer their homes up to Ukrainian refugees.

The UK’s ‘Homes for Ukraine’ is a scheme that allows individuals to offer their homes up to Ukrainian refugees fleeing the war.

Residents and organisations can record their interest in becoming or sign up to become a ‘sponsor’ for an incoming Ukrainian family through the Governments website.

Homes for Ukraine in H&F

More than 280 Ukrainian refugees have arrived in H&F since the Homes for Ukraine scheme began. The guests are being hosted by 205 sponsors across the borough.

Each of these guests and their sponsors have been invited to a welcome session, organised by H&F at the Hammersmith Quaker meeting house where they received information about covid vaccines, schooling, adult social care, benefits and financial support.

H&F Giving Appeal

If you’d like to help incoming Ukrainian refugees but don’t have rooms to offer, why not donate to our H&F Ukraine Appeal instead?

We’ve worked with H&F Giving and West London Welcome to create this appeal. Money raised will supply support, advice and items to refugees who have fled the conflict and local residents affected by the crisis.

British Red Cross

The British Red Cross has resources in English, Ukrainian and Russian, to help Ukrainian refugees learn about services and support that might be available to them. Find out more.

Or, to find out how you can support Ukrainian guests in your home, visit their host advice webpage for more.
