About pre-supported internships
Pre-supported internships are for young people who want to work but aren't quite ready for a full supported internship.
You might choose a pre-supported internship if:
- you're still learning to travel on your own
- you want to build your confidence before doing lots of work experience
- you need more time to get ready for the world of work.
How is it different from a supported internship?
Pre-supported internships:
- run 3 days a week instead of 5 times a week
- give you more time to learn and prepare.
What's the goal?
The aim is to help you feel ready and confident to move on to a supported internship when you're ready.
