Working with schools to deliver better outcomes

Why choose us

Our Traded Offer focuses on the provision of support for pastoral care, behavioural issues, attendance concerns and challenges within a student's home.

We have an experienced workforce who are highly trained to offer both 121 work and targeted group-work with young people and their families by creating intervention plans using evidence-based tools to improve outcomes for young people.

Most staff who are trained in year 1 Systemic practice (Family therapy) or other therapeutic models have developed their knowledge and understanding of theory and its application to practice, in order to improve outcomes.

We use our trauma-informed practice to recognise that behavioural issues that children exhibit can be a direct result of early life trauma and so tailor our responses by practising trauma informed approaches.

We have a highly experienced and dedicated workforce with a varied skills and knowledge which includes youth work, education welfare, early years and social work.

Our service

Bespoke package
We will provide a bespoke package of support focused on the identified areas by the school or college.

Dedicated resource
The key benefit of the offer is that it provides a dedicated resource located within the school and working as part of the school team in close collaboration with staff.

Tailored support
It provides support tailored to the individual needs of the school, offering greater flexibility and improved access to support for pupils.

Consultation, guidance, and recommendations
We will offer consultation, guidance, and recommendations on implementing a variety of approaches to help address attendance and behavioural issues within your student population. This will include a programme of intervention for children requiring additional support.

Termly team meetings
We offer termly team around the school meetings to share information and create clear interventions for both students and the school. These meetings are multi-disciplinary.

Virtual Reality (VR) experience and training
In addition, the school will have access to a Virtual Reality (VR) experience. The VR has a number of materials which include real life experiences from pre-natal, early years and adolescent experiences. This will allow staff to have a better understanding of those who have experienced trauma and how to support students.

We offer whole school Virtual Reality training package to allow all members of staff to be trained. This includes all staff from school maintenance to teaching staff and SLT.

Feedback

Schools are encouraged to have regular contact with the team to ensure that service provision remains at the highest standard possible.

We welcome feedback from our students and families which will support the service to maintain highest standard of practice.

Suggestions from schools in respect of new elements or improvements to the service will be welcomed and considered.

Where complaints are received, these will be acknowledged on receipt, fully investigated, and responded to fully within 14 days.

Confidentiality

Neither party shall disclose to any other party information in connection with the provision of this Service other than in compliance with the agreed information format specified in compliance with the provision of the Data Protection Act 2018 and Freedom of Information Act 2000.

  • Our Virtual Reality training package

The Virtual Reality (VR) we offer is aimed at parent carers, children and young people and professionals. There is a variety of materials available to create a bespoke package of learning and development.

The VR experience allows the participants to go through the different stages of childhood, from prenatal to young adulthood.
