It's great to welcome event organisers and guests back into the borough.

Whether it's a small community event or a large festival that you're looking to host, Hammersmith & Fulham has a space for you.

We're ready to help guide you through the whole application process, from initial conceptual ideas through to event day, we're with you all the way.

Submit an application for your event

Our events team manage the hire of over 60 parks and outdoor spaces, council-owned venues, and will be managing the new state-of-the-art civic campus set to open in Autumn 2022.

They also host their own programme of events throughout the year for the community and encourage other organisations to get in touch with their ideas for collaboration.

2022 events in H&F

Crosslight Advice: Move4Change 10K river walk

Saturday 10 September, 1.30pm, St Paul’s Centre, Hammersmith, W6 9PJ

Join our 10K river walk. Enjoy a fun day out with friends and family, walking from Hammersmith to Chiswick and back. Finish with a celebratory cream tea.

Free to join. All vital funds raised by sponsorship or donations will go to Crosslight Hammersmith, helping support local families struggling with unmanageable debt.

BTRC Charity Dog Show

Saturday 10 September, from 10.30am to 5pm, Parsons Green

Bring your pampered pooches along for a fun-filled family day for all! There’s lots of classes to take part in judged by local celebrities, including: The Waggiest Tail, Best Golden Oldie, and even Scruffiest in the Show.

North End Road Autumn Festival

Saturday 24 September 2022, 10am to 5pm, North End Road

The traffic-free North End Road Autumn Festival is back and you are invited! There’ll be live music including Battle of The Bands, street entertainment,150+ stalls, ethical pop-ups, and much more

Black History Month

October 2022

We celebrate Black History Month every year. In 2021 we curated a varied programme of culture, entertainment, honest dialogue and education which can be seen here Black History Month 2021 events.

Remembrance Sunday

Sunday 13 November, 11am, Shepherds Bush Green and Fulham

Parades and services will take place in both Shepherds Bush Green and Fulham to mark Remembrance Sunday.

Senior’s Christmas Lunch

Sunday 25 December, Novotel London West in Hammersmith

Our annual Christmas lunch returns to its in-person version this year at the wonderful Novotel.

Bookings will open in September.

Regular events

Fulham Palace Park Run

This is a free weekly 5km run organised and managed by volunteers every Saturday at 9am.

Spring 2023

Celebrate friends, family and coworkers in our 2023 Civic Awards. Nominations for our various categories will open in September with the ceremony taking place in spring next year.

The Boat Race 2023

Sunday 26 March 2023

The Gemini Boat Race returns with fanzones along the riverbank. The 77th Women’s Boat Race is due to take places at 4pm and The 168th Men’s Boat Race at 5pm.

Polo in the Park

From Friday 9 to Sunday 11 June 2023, Hurlingham Park

This firm fixture in London’s social calendar is back, bringing world-class polo to the Capital.

Refugee Week

From 19 to 25 June 2023

Refugee Week is an annual celebration in the UK focused around World Refugee Day.

This week is a chance for H&F to celebrate the unique contributions refugees have made to the community.

Armed Forces Day: Remembering the Korean War

Sunday 25 June 2023

The 70th anniversary of the signing of the Korean War Armistice will be celebrated on 27 July 2023 and so to honour this often forgotten war, this years Armed Forces Day will focus on the contributions and sacrifices made by those who served during this often fogotten war.
