Whether it's a small community event or a large festival that you're looking to host, Hammersmith & Fulham has a space for you.
We're ready to help guide you through the whole application process, from initial conceptual ideas through to event day, we're with you all the way. For information on holding an event visit our webpage about holding events, festivals and promotions in H&F.

We manage the hire of over 60 parks and outdoor spaces, council-owned venues, and will be managing the new state-of-the-art Civic Campus set to open in Autumn 2023.
We also host our own programme of events throughout the year for the community and encourage other organisations to get in touch with their ideas for collaboration.

March
Head of the River Race
Saturday 18 March, 1pm, Furnival Gardens
The Head of the River Race is the first major rowing event of the season and see’s teams from across the globe competing for the champion title.
The Boat Race
Sunday 26 March, 4pm, Bishops Park and Furnival Gardens
The annual Gemini Boat Race is back again this year. The 77th Women’s race is due to take place at 4pm and the 168th Men’s race at 5pm. You’ll be able to watch from Bishops Park and Furnivall Gardens.
Civic Honours Awards 2023
Thursday 30 March, Chelsea Football Club
Vote for your friends, family and colleagues in this years Civic Honours Awards. Winners will be invited to attend a ceremony evening at Chelsea Football Club in order to receive their prize. You can find out more and nominate someone here.

The King's Coronation
Saturday 6 – Monday 8 May
Check out our dedicated Kings Coronation webpage for information on all the events happening across the borough on this extra bank holiday weekend. Polo in the Park
Friday 9 – Sunday 11 June, Hurlingham Park

Polish Festival
Saturday 10 – Sunday 11 June, Ravenscourt Park
A celebration of Polish food, arts, and traditions is taking place across the weekend.
Refugee Week
Monday 19 – Sunday 25 June
Refugee Week is an annual celebration in the UK focused around World Refugee Day. The week is a chance for H&F to celebrate the unique contributions refugees have made to the community.
Armed Forces Day
Saturday 24 June, 11am-4pm, St Paul’s Garden
This Armed Forces Day we’ll be marking the 70th anniversary of the Korean War at St Paul’s Gardens with Korean entertainment, food and welcoming Korean Veterans from the UK Korean Veteran Association.
SSAFA 13 Bridges Challenge

Community walk in aid of Veterans and their families.
Blue Cross Dog Show
Saturday 24 June, 10am-1pm, Ravenscourt Park
Bring your four-legged friend down for a friendly, fun and informal Dog Show – all in the name of charity.
July
Taste of the Caribbean Festival
Saturday 8 July, 10am-8pm, Ravenscourt Park
The travelling celebration is stopping off in H&F to bring us all a taste of the Caribbean. With music, food and entertainment this promises to be a great start to the summer event season.
Pop-Up Cinema Screens
Friday 21 – Sunday 23 July, films start 9.15pm, Ravenscourt Park
Enjoy the longer evenings by taking a picnic and popcorn along to the park to watch a recent blockbuster. Keep an eye out for what film is showing and how to purchase tickets on the Pop Up Screens website.

Thames Path Challenge
Saturday 9 – Sunday 10 July, Fanzone in Bishops Park
England’s greatest river provides a fantastic backdrop for an unforgettable challenge. Over 3,000 adventurers will join the Putney Bridge start, and the full 100km route heads upstream to Henley along the famous Towpath. It’s through Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede, and Windsor, with some wonderful scenery to a riverside finish line.
With 50km and 25km distance options also available – plus the separate 25km ‘Thames Bridges Trek’ and ‘The Moonlight 10 Walk’ through Central London as part of the weekend ‘festival’ – there’s a Thames Challenge for everyone!

Big H&F Christmas Day Lunch

As well as all our usual festive fun, we’ll be hosting our Big H&F Christmas Day Lunch for older residents who would otherwise be celebrating alone.
