A new exhibition at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith gives visitors a glimpse of top pop stars in an unusually candid manner.

The Music Seen exhibition celebrates the early noughties golden age of music television, and Riverside’s musical legacy. It features the photography of Mark Allan, who was able to take snaps behind-the-scenes at music TV shows filmed at the Riverside, including Top of the Pops and Re:Covered.

The revealing photos have never been seen before by public. Musical icons featured in the exhibition include Elton John, the Cranberries, The Cure and many more.

The exhibition runs until 1 June. Entry is free.
