Summer Reading Challenge

Head to your local Hammersmith & Fulham library at the start of the school summer holidays and take on the Summer Reading Challenge. It's fun, free and designed for all children whatever their reading ability. Taking part helps children to improve their reading skills and confidence during the holidays.

Each of our libraries will be holding special events for children of all ages, pop in to collect a special Summer Reading Challenge events programme and find out how to join in.

Dennis and the chamber of mischief

Join performer Dan McGarry for this brand new Dennis the Menace story.

Free event that's suitable for children aged 6 and over. No need to book, just turn up.

Superhero mask making

Wednesday 25 July, 2.15pm - 3.30pm at Fulham Library

Come dressed as your favourite superhero and make a mask to match. Suitable for children aged 5 and over.

Zoolab - meet the animals

Come along to meet Zoolab's team of animals and rangers. As this event involves live animals, advanced booking is essential.
