At Citizen's Advice H&F most of our advisers/assessors are fully trained volunteers who are supported and supervised by experienced paid personnel.
We hold the Advice Quality Standard Certificate in General Help with Casework. At any time when our offices are open, you have the option of dealing with your enquiry by accessing information available in the bureau.
We can do this by helping you to find the right leaflets, give you details of other organisations that can help and/or find suitable information from selected public websites including www.adviceguide.org.uk
During our advertised opening hours you will see an assessor for a short interview (normally no more than 10 to 15 minutes). This will assess your situation and direct you to the most appropriate next step to assist with your problem, whether it is an appointment with us, assisted information or a referral/signpost to another organisation.
