If your child is born between 1 September 2012 and 31 August 2013 you will need to apply for a primary school place by 15 January 2017. Your child will be due to start the reception class from September 2017.
In order for you to be fully informed and prepared, the Hints and tips leafet (pdf 949KB) provides you with basic information and will point you in the right direction to access further information.
The annual 'Starting School' brochure will be available online from 1 September 2016. The eadmissions site will open from 1 September to apply online.
Where distance from home to school is used to allocate places, cut-off distance maps will shortly be provided to show how places were offered last year.
The closing date for applications is 15 January 2017 and the national offer day is 17 April 2017.
