Re-opening of H&F schools delayed due to Covid-19

Due to rising cases of Covid-19, the re-opening of primary and secondary schools and colleges in Hammersmith & Fulham has been delayed by the Government until February half term.

Colleges, primary and secondary schools will remain closed except for vulnerable children and the children of critical workers. All other children will learn remotely until February half term.

Early years settings such as nurseries will stay open.

“School teachers and staff across H&F have been heroic throughout 2020 by continuing to reassure and inspire young people in the most difficult of circumstances,” said Cllr Larry Culhane, H&F Cabinet Member for Children and Education.

“We’ll continue to support them in every way we can and ask parents for their patience as we adjust to the Government’s latest rushed announcement.”

Who is eligible to attend?

Colleges, primary and secondary schools will remain closed except for vulnerable children and the children of critical workers.
