Upcoming events and activities

Planned for 2022

Fashion school, bike building, canoeing, climbing and walking outside London, creative writing residential and photography.

Football Club

Every Thursday at Eel Brook Common from 5.30pm to 7pm.

Coaches from Fulham and Chelsea FC Foundations run football sessions for UASCs and asylum seekers and refugees. These evenings are very popular and well attended. The standard is very high. The atmosphere is competitive but fun. It is a great opportunity to get some exercise and meet other people.

Letterbox club

Helping children who are looked-after, previously looked after, vulnerable or on the edge of care, with reading and numeracy.

Each year from May to October, every child signed up to the Letterbox Club receives their own colourful parcel of books, maths games, stationery and other high-quality materials.

Key benefits:

  • Children feel excited about receiving their parcels
  • Carers/families and children spend more time together reading & playing games
  • Children have increased confidence in reading and number
  • Parcels are delivered despite placement moves and give continuity to the child
  • For many children, it's the first time they have had a letter or a parcel through the post and for some it's the first time they have had books of their own.

Parcels include:

  • Carefully selected books in a range of different genres, such as: fairy tales, classic and contemporary stories, picture books, poetry, non-fiction and audio books.
  • At least one Maths game in each of the parcel. The games focus on number and arithmetic and are provided at a suitable level.
  • A range of stationery items is included which encourage writing and drawing, and support independent learning at home.
