Help us stand against hate crime in Hammersmith & Fulham

We don’t tolerate hate crime in Hammersmith & Fulham and we know that you don’t either.

We don’t tolerate hate crime in Hammersmith & Fulham and we know that you don’t either.

You can sign our pledge to show you will stand against prejudice and support victims. It’s one of the ways we are marking National Hate Crime Awareness Week which starts tomorrow (Saturday 14 October).

Sign our pledge

“Hate crime is abhorrent and totally unacceptable, no one should feel afraid because of who they are,” said Cllr Sue Fennimore, Deputy Leader of H&F Council.

“This pledge, is our way of showing that victims are not alone, that we care about our neighbours and we will stand up for them.”

As well as signing the pledge, you can join us at a hate crime awareness event at the Lyric Theatre on Thursday 19 October from 6pm. It will include two short films and guest speeches by campaigners against hate crime.

You can come and find out more about hate crime and sign the pledge at stalls run by our community safety teams. The stalls will be running between 12 to 2.30pm at the following dates and locations:

  • Monday 16 October in Lyric Square, Hammersmith
  • Tuesday 17, October, in Jerdan Place, Fulham
  • Friday 20 October on Shepherds Bush Green

National Hate Crime Awareness Week is run by the charities 17-24-30 No to Hate Crime Campaign and Stop Hate UK.

You can report hate to the police online or by calling 101. In an emergency, always call 999.
