Experience Wandsworth Bridge Road in all its Spring splendour at the street’s annual fayre on Sunday 21 May from 11am to 5pm.

The fete promises a car-free afternoon of food, fun, music and more than 80 stalls selling everything from jams and chutneys to handbags and jewellery.

In partnership with Hammersmith & Fulham Council, the fayre has been organised by the Wandsworth Bridge Road Association, and is free for everyone.

Gary Fannin from the Wandsworth Bridge Road Association said:

“We are delighted to be able to run the WBR Spring Fayre for the second time. Transforming our beautiful tree-lined street into a vibrant fayre with games, food, and live music is a wonderful opportunity to showcase just how amazing this High Street actually is. We look forward to seeing you there.”

Endless entertainment for everyone

This year, the tree-lined street will be filled with stands run by entrepreneurs, small businesses, local restaurants, cafes and shops.

For those looking for a tasty bite, there’ll be a delicious range of food, including vegetarian and vegan options, with everything from barbecued delights to a champagne bar.

Coffee shop Carbon Kopi’s owner Chris Brittan will be running a stall on the day:

“We’re beyond excited about the return of the fayre. Last year was a first for the fete and a first for us as we launched a brand-new shop. And thanks to the warm welcome we received we’ve always felt a real affinity with the event. We can’t wait to do it all over again.”

To entertain the whole family, there’s funfair games, children’s fairground rides, and a dedicated Children’s Activity Area with free sessions including yoga, football and dancing.

And the music lovers haven’t been forgotten.

The fayre will have two stages and a busking area. As well as Maypole dancing accompanied by a fiddle player. Performers include the Cable Street Collective, Roots 8, Nye Jazz, Ocean, Jack Schwab, Ollie Wade and Chris Harper.

Fulham’s past, present and future

To top it off, the Wandsworth Bridge Road Association has organised a photo exhibition to be displayed at the fete, documenting the street’s past and Fulham’s possible future look.

Attendees will also get the chance to test out the very latest, high tech transport methods, with instructor led e-bike and e-scooter sessions from DOTT, HumanForest and Lime.

The Spring fayre is part of the Wandsworth Bridge Road Association’s work to support the local stores, make the street more pedestrian and cycle friendly and help reduce air pollution in the area.

The fayre has been supported with generous donations from local businesses including Marston Properties, Sushi Circle, Bridge Baker, Goater Jones, Krystals Food Market, Man Maid, Yellow Elephant and Green Room.
