Families heading to Westfield shopping centre in White City this half term can enjoy free meals for children at more than 20 restaurants.
From pizza and bao buns to Greek and Italian restaurants, the family-friendly eateries have joined forces to offer free meals to children up to the age of 12.
The aim is to help families with the cost-of-living crisis – making the budget stretch a bit further during the week-long school holiday.
The free children’s meals will be on offer from Saturday 11 to Sunday 19 February, at many of the White City restaurants including Franco Manca, Master Bao, Spaghetti House, the Real Greek and Bill’s.
Katie Wyle, general manager at Westfield London, explained: “We recognise how hard it can be for parents and caregivers to keep children entertained during the school holidays without the added costs.”

The Westfield restaurants offering free kids’ meals during the February half term are:

The deal offers one free meal for a child aged 12 years and under when accompanied by one paying adult.
War on food poverty
The move has been welcomed by charity Save the Children UK, which pointed out child poverty rates in London were higher than the national average.
Caroline Whatley, from Save the Children UK, added: “Latest figures show that 35 per cent of London children aged 0 to 15 were in poverty in 2020-2021, which is higher than the national average.
“With fears continuing to mount that the capital’s child poverty rate will rise again because of the cost-of-living crisis, promotions like this that can save families money and treat children to a meal out of the house are very much welcomed.”

The promotion comes as H&F Council has set up a dedicated office to support residents who need support during the cost-of-living crisis.
