The 17-year-old who is a student at Fulham Boys School is one of only two fighters from London in the GB squad.

“It’s a great honour to represent the GB squad on such a huge stage. It has been a long hard road getting here and I can’t wait to get started on Saturday,” said Zack.

Zack fights out of the Kixstar Dragon club in Haldane Road which is run by his father Saimoore, a fourth Dan black belt coach.

The pathway to team GB

Zack first caught the attention of Team GB four years ago when he narrowly missed out on a place at the European Championships 2018 after losing the semi-finals of the 2017 GB qualifiers.

He did, however, earn a place in the GB Cadet Wider Team Programme, providing him with the opportunity to compete internationally.

H&F are right behind him – Good Luck Zack!
