“To tackle the climate emergency, we need to radically reduce waste,” said Cllr Wesley Harcourt, H&F Cabinet Member for Environment. “That’s why we’re showcasing this brilliant work happening on our doorstep. So come along and help us make reusing and refurbishing the norm.”

Local experts

H&F is home to some pioneering organisations tackling the climate emergency.

These include brilliant services like Ready Tech Go, who are refurbishing laptops to bridge the digital divide.

No Waste Jose is a new zero waste delivery service that brings refills of household products to your doorstep.

Or the Rework project, based in Western Riverside Waste Authority, where white goods are fixed by trainees gaining valuable skills to get into work.
