We are celebrating LGBT+ History Month with an inspiring online talk featuring a stellar line-up of speakers on 24 February.

Hammersmith & Fulham Council is celebrating LGBT+ History Month with an inspiring online talk featuring a stellar line-up of speakers.

Everyone is welcome to the free event where our panel of guests will share their life experiences of coming out as members or allies of the LGBT+ community.

Panellists include Linda Bellos OBE and Dame Angela Eagle, among others. There will also be an opportunity for questions and discussion after the talks.

The ‘Hear Our Voices: A Celebration of LGBT+ life experiences - Panel and Q&A’ event organised by the H&F Libraries team is on Wednesday 24 February from 7pm to 8.30pm on Zoom.

We are also looking for contributions to our upcoming e-book ‘Hear My Voice: A Celebration of LGBT+ Coming Out Stories’.

We have already received a selection of autobiographical narratives, poetry and spoken word from contributors, and would love to hear from you too.

There is no word limit and contributions from family members, friends and allies of the LGBT+ community are also welcomed.

If you would like to submit a piece of work, please send your submissions to shepherdsbushlibrary@lbhf.gov.uk by Sunday 28 February.

The collection of stories will be released in an e-book in Spring 2021.
