Photographs by Cinzia D’Ambrosi on display at Westfield London
To celebrate the diverse community in Shepherds Bush, the Westfield mall has commissioned photographer and resident Cinzia D’Ambrosi to produce a series of portraits marking Black History Month.
An exhibition space has been created on the ground floor, between Monsoon and Jack Wills, where the photographs are now displayed, capturing the stories behind local families and their ancestry under the banner My Heritage. The show is free, and will remain up until the end of October.
“It’s been a privilege to share some of the personal human journeys from black, African and Caribbean local communities, reminding us of their rich heritage and immense cultural and economic contribution to the UK,” said Cinzia.
Westfield London is now the largest retail destination in Europe, following its £600m expansion in 2018.
