VOTE NOW: Nominate your favourite local business in H&F Brilliant Business Awards
Who do you think deserves to be named the best businesses in Shepherds Bush, Hammersmith and in Fulham?
It could be your local plumber, the independent coffee shop you pass on your way to work or the new web designer in town.
Vote now for your favourite small businesses in the borough and help them get on stage at this year’s H&F Brilliant Business Awards.
The prestigious awards are the highlight of the business year in Hammersmith & Fulham.
They not only acknowledge business success but past winners and shortlisted companies say the awards can also ‘open many doors’ for their business.
“We want to make H&F the best place to do business in Europe,” said Cllr Andrew Jones, H&F Cabinet Member for the Economy and the Arts. “Vote today and help shine the light on your favourite local business at this year’s awards.”
The awards form part of H&F Council’s Industrial Strategy (pdf 2.6MB) which aims to make the borough the best place to live, work and play in Europe.
Public Vote
You can nominate your favourite businesses in three categories: Best Fulham Business, Best Hammersmith Business, and Best Shepherds Bush Business.
Closing date for public nominations is Sunday 10 November.
The five businesses with the most votes in each category will be invited to the gala presentation on Thursday 21 November at Olympia London, with the winner being the one who gets the most votes – it’s that simple.

Past winner
The Macbeth Community Cafe picked up the Best Place to Eat award last year.
Head chef Mustapha Ben El-Mammar says winning the award has done wonders for the business.
“It was fantastic for the business,” said Mustapha. “It was great to be recognised for all the hard work we have put into the cafe over the years.
“After we won the Brilliant Business award, we also had more customers coming over to eat. I would encourage all local businesses to take part in the awards. It can really help your business in so many ways.”
Mustapha previously worked at the Gate Diner in Kensington where he cooked for Hollywood stars such as Al Pacino and Arnold Schwarzenegger as well as pop star Phil Collins to name a few.
The Macbeth Community Cafe is based inside the Macbeth Centre, just off King Street in Hammersmith.
