Christmas day lunch at the town hall

The H&F Big Christmas Day Lunch – be our guest or help make it happen

Residents aged over 55 who aren’t having lunch with anyone on Christmas Day are invited to join us at the H&F Big Christmas Day Lunch at the town hall - and we need your help to make it happen.

H&F Council throws a Christmas Day lunch party for residents every year. This year we are expecting up to 350 guests.

“We want to do our bit to give residents a great Christmas – and all the guests and volunteers at our annual Christmas Day lunches have a lot of fun,” said Cllr Ben Coleman, Cabinet Member for Health and Adult Social Care.

On top of a hearty Christmas lunch, our guests will enjoy a visit from Father Christmas, a goody bag, live entertainment, music and dancing. Door-to-door transport, qualified carers and a team of volunteers will ensure all guests are well looked after.

To make the lunch as good as possible, we’re asking both for donations and for volunteers on the day.
