A busy summer of concerts and recordings awaits pupils who are part of an exciting musical programme based at the Lyric Hammersmith.

The west London Music Hub – which encourages young singers and instrument players from H&F and neighbouring boroughs – invites you to enjoy three major events in coming weeks.

On Friday (15 June) at Hammersmith Town Hall in King Street, the Infant Voices Festival at 12.45pm involves 350 pupils, singing together as part of Key Stage 1.

Then on 11 July, the town hall is once again the venue for the annual gala evening, starting at 7pm, when the young musicians from different schools come together for a musical extravaganza.

Finally, on 18 July at the church of St Clement Danes in The Strand, the end-of-year youth orchestra concert takes place, giving the newest and youngest instrumentalists a chance to show off their skills.

The purpose of the Music Hub – which is financially supported by Hammersmith & Fulham Council – is to encourage youngsters to try an instrument while raising the overall standard of music teaching in west London.

To attend any of the events, email: events@triboroughmusichub.org and request tickets. Please let them know if you have any access requirements.
