Are you registered to vote?

Residents of Hammersmith & Fulham are being reminded to ensure they are registered to vote by midnight, Tuesday 17 April so they can vote in May’s local elections.

The next council election takes place on Thursday 3 May and new electors can register online at: www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.

I turn 18 on the day of the election, can I vote?

I’m a British, Irish, Commonwealth or EU citizen, can I vote?

I am not on the Electoral Register, and didn't get around to registering before the 17 April deadline. Can I register at the polling station on the day?
No, you will not be able to vote if you are not on the register, and have missed the deadline.

Voting by post or proxy

The last date to apply for a postal vote, or to amend an existing postal or proxy vote arrangement is Wednesday 18 April at 5pm. The deadline for new applications to vote by proxy is Wednesday 25 April at 5pm.
