Ultra-fast fibre broadband will soon be just a click away for businesses in Hammersmith & Fulham.

H&F Council has launched a new partnership with ITS Technology Group to develop a dedicated fibre optic network in the borough to help boost economic growth.

The council has become the first local authority in the country to grant access to its underground CCTV ducts to create the high-speed fibre network.

“Ultra-fast broadband is a key tool in helping local businesses to improve productivity, increase customer satisfaction and save money,” said Cllr Andrew Jones, H&F Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Regeneration. “We want to provide businesses in H&F with the perfect environment to start up, survive and grow.”

A more reliable and consistent internet connection will be hugely beneficial to the wealth of media businesses in the borough.

H&F is home to a huge number of TV, programming and broadcasting businesses – 23 times higher than the rest of the UK, according to our new Industrial Growth Strategy.
