Have your say on childcare in Hammersmith & Fulham

We’ve launched our biggest consultation ever on the future of childcare in Hammersmith & Fulham.

We want to hear from everyone using childcare for under 12s in H&F, so why not click here and fill out our survey? You can also pick up a hard copy at children’s centres, libraries, and nurseries. Please give us your views by 18 December.

Take part in our survey

As well as having your say, you’ll be entered into a draw for the chance to win a £500 John Lewis voucher or one of five £100 vouchers.

“We have an ambitious aim to make sure everyone in H&F has a stake in its prosperity and for no-one to be left behind – and for most families that means access to affordable, reliable childcare,” said Cllr Sue Macmillan, Cabinet Member for Children and Education.

“We have some fantastic nurseries and childminders in the borough, but too many people are struggling to find a place that suits them. We need to think bigger and better. So today we’re launching a genuine and open debate on what we can do to improve things.

“To fix a problem, you have to understand it first. That’s why first-hand experiences from the people using local services, or struggling to find a place, are essential. The door is open, so if you want to change things, we need you to take part.”

People tell us they love our 16 children’s centres and the many fantastic projects run by schools, charities and private organisations but we know more can be done.

What do you think? What would you like to see more of? What would you like to see less of? Do you get what you need when you need it? Are services and activities close enough? This is your chance to tell us.

Have your say by filling out our survey. It will only take a few moments and then you’ll be in the running for that £500 John Lewis voucher.
