The Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith

The Lyric – which is financially supported by Hammersmith & Fulham Council – hopes to repeat the huge success of last winter’s production of Aladdin.

The BBC Proms presenter Vikki will play the villain Fleshcreep alongside Faith Omole as Jack and Cherrelle Skeete as the Fairy Godmother.

Jack and the Beanstalk was written by Joel Horwood and is co-directed by the Lyric Hammersmith’s Artistic Director, Sean Holmes, as well as Jude Christian, an artistic associate of the Lyric in King Street. The cast will also include up to six young performers from the Lyric Young Company as part of the theatre’s commitment to nurturing young local talent.

Jack and the Beanstalk runs from 18 November to 6 January.
