Legal advice services – tell us your views

This consultation has now closed.

Hammersmith & Fulham Council funds local organisations to provide free legal support and advice to local residents – particularly for those struggling financially. We’re planning to tender contracts for these services over the next 10 years and we’d like to hear your views.

“We believe that access to good quality, impartial legal advice for everyone is fundamental to a fair and just society,” says the council’s Deputy Leader, Cllr Sue Fennimore. “And we want to make sure the public funding we put into local advice services really meet the needs of local people.

“Demand for advice services has risen in recent years thanks to welfare reform, austerity measures and, most recently, Brexit. So it’s more important than ever that local people have their say on this and I’d urge you to share your experiences and views if you can.”
