Summer in the City’s 80 days of fun has begun

Summer is here! And we’ve got a packed programme of events you can book right now.

Summer in the City is Hammersmith & Fulham Council’s annual festival of fun activities for young people.

Events began this week and there are 80 days of fun still to come

There are a massive 1,400 events to choose from and you can find them all at our all-new website.

“There is so much variety”, said Cllr Sue Macmillan, H&F Cabinet Member for Children and Education.

“Have a look at our interactive diary of events and you’ll find plenty of inspiration to help you fill your summer holidays with fun.”

The events include:

  • Creating your own drama with the White City Youth Theatre
  • An adventure playground, board games, dance, table tennis and more at Little Wormwood Scrubs
  • A basketball camp at the Hurlingham Academy in Fulham
  • Hair and beauty classes at Phoenix Academy in Shepherds Bush
  • Graffiti art classes at Edward Woods Community Centre in Shepherds Bush
  • H&F Mencap play scheme for Disabled children

And that’s just a small taster of the free and low cost events on offer for 11 to 19-year-olds and activities for Disabled people aged zero to 25-years-old.

Events began this week and there are 80 days of fun still to come. They are taking place across Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, and Westminster.

You can find out more at the Summer in the City website or pick up a guide at Hammersmith Town Hall, schools, libraries, children’s centres and youth clubs.
