The critically acclaimed Amici Dance Theatre Company

The critically acclaimed Amici Dance Theatre Company is back at the Lyric and you still have the chance to see one of their most popular shows.

The company has been creating unique plays for more than 35 years by enabling disabled and able-bodied performers to work together.

They will be performing their play Tightrope from 7.30pm tonight (Friday). The story follows the plight of an old circus company struggling against the odds to survive.

If you can’t make it tonight, there will be another tomorrow at the same time. The play runs for 70 minutes without an interval.

If you’re not content to simply watch, there is an open workshop tomorrow afternoon at 2.30pm. The two-hour session will teach you some of the techniques which enable Amici to make such captivating theatre.

The performance and workshop will take place at the Lyric Theatre in King Street Hammersmith.

Tickets for Tightrope cost either £12.50 or £15. Entry to the workshop is £10.

Amici have been lauded by critics, including those from the Observer, the Sunday Telegraph and the Financial Times.
