Stilt-walker at North End Road traffic-free market
North End Road’s traffic-free market is back tomorrow and will be packed with entertainers and more than 150 stalls.
The much-loved market will be buzzing with thousands of people enjoying the entertainment and browsing a massive variety of stalls selling great gifts and tasty food.
The North End Road Spring Market is part of Hammersmith & Fulham Council’s drive, together with residents in the North End Road Action Group, to revive the major high street.
Previous events have attracted more than 17,000 visitors as well as famous faces, including Made In Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo.
Mini-music festival
Talent from across the country will be performing tomorrow across seven areas up and down the road.
The singers and musicians include the soulful Dolly Mavies, the upbeat ska singer Tyber Cranstoun and the lively ZHL String Ensemble. The acts will be performing their own material as well as covers of the likes of Ed Sheeran, Adele and Fleetwood Mac.
Whether you’re a fan of rock, pop, blues, classical, or funk, you’re guaranteed to find something for you.
Street performers
Other performers will be raising laughs and impressing the public with their attention-grabbing talent. They include colourful stilt walkers, a one-man band, a juggler and an acrobat.
Great gifts
Stall holders will be selling perfect presents as well as the chance to treat yourself including clothes, artwork and homeware.
Among them are La Galeria, selling handcrafted homeware from Mexico, as well as Red Squirrel’s unique clothes, shoes and accessories.
Flavours from around the world
Whether you fancy something sweet or savoury (or both), you’ll be spoilt for choice. food stalls will include Argentinian butchers Toropampa, Olivier’s Bakery and The Crepe Factory.
