Don’t lose your vote! Make sure you are registered

Last chance to register to vote at the General Election is today (Monday 22 May) by 11.59pm.

With only weeks to go until the General Election it’s time to make sure you are registered.

The General Election has been called for 8 June.

Which means that if you are not currently registered or recently moved into the borough, it’s extremely important that you register now. If you are unsure if you are registered, call us on 020 8753 4466.

The easiest way to register is online at GOV.UK - register to vote. It only takes a couple of minutes, and registrations close for the General Election at 11.59pm on 22 May.

If you live in the Avonmore & Brook Green or Sands End wards, there will be Hammersmith & Fulham Council by-elections on the same day - and you can register to vote in these using the same link.

“Anyone not yet registered to vote should do so as soon as possible to make sure they can have their say on issues that affect their lives,” said Kim Dero, Returning Officer for Hammersmith & Fulham.

Changes to the registration process means that it might take a few days for your application to be checked - so don’t delay!
