The weather is warming up and traders are signing-up for our latest North End Road traffic-free market.

The road will once again be packed with entertainment and plenty to buy, eat and drink.

There will be more than 150 stalls on Saturday 29 April, plus live music and wandering performers including a juggler, stilt walkers and an acrobat.

“Our traffic-free markets are among the highlights of the year,” said Cllr Andrew Jones, H&F Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Regeneration.

“Our last event, in December, was our biggest yet with more than 17,000 visitors.

“With so much to enjoy we’re not surprised they’re so popular. Why not join us and enjoy a great day out?”

The traffic-free market is part of Hammersmith & Fulham Council’s drive, together with residents in the North End Road Action Group, to revive this major high street.

What’s on?

There will be plenty to keep you entertained if you fancy a break from browsing the stalls, including singers and musicians Dolly Mavies, J&D, Giovanna Rumma, Tyber Cranstoun, and the ZHL Ensemble

There will also be a funfair, a one-man-band, stilt walkers, a juggler and an acrobat.

Eat, drink and shop

Whether you fancy something savoury to eat or want to indulge your sweet tooth, they’ll be a massive amount of choice.

There will also be a wide range of clothes, homeware, artwork and other gifts, which make perfect presents, whether you’re treating others or spoiling yourself.
