One of last year's traffic-free markets on North End Road.

The popular North End Road traffic-free market is back next month, giving stall holders the chance to meet thousands of people enjoying a great day out.

Previous events have seen more than 15,000 people, giving you the perfect opportunity to reach a new customer base and test out ideas.

Past traffic-free markets have been so popular, they’ve attracted big names like Made in Chelsea Star Louise Thompson who sold clothes from her fashion line Pocket London last December. Apply before Friday 16 September and you can join the many traders who have already signed up.

“We’re delighted how popular our traffic-free markets have become,” said Cllr Andrew Jones, H&F Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Regeneration.

“This year’s autumn market is set to be no different and many traders have already signed up as they know it’s an opportunity to reach thousands of new customers.”

The extended market will be held on Saturday 8 October and run from 10am to 6pm. There will be plenty of entertainment including a funfair, live music and street performers.

A second traffic-free market will take place on Saturday 3 December.

Even if you’ve never traded before, the market is the perfect opportunity to introduce your product to thousands of customers. Previous traffic-free markets have seen traders launch new businesses thanks to their success on the day.

The traffic free markets are a great opportunity for startups,” said Mark Richardson, member of the North End Road Action Group.

“More established traders find a friendly crowd who are out to have fun and enjoy themselves with their families.

“The curated mix of stalls means that there is a wide variety of goods and street foods to make the day successful for everyone.”
