Dodge, paddle and walk your way to a healthy you

H&F Council's Get Going campaign aims to help residents live healthier, more active lifestyles.

Dodgeball, walking netball and paddleboarding – just a handful of activities being offered this summer as part of Hammersmith & Fulham Council’s Get Going campaign.

The council is promoting healthier, more active lifestyles through its activities – many of which are free – which are spread across the borough and suitable for beginners.

“We are really want to movitate our residents to live healthy and happy lives,” said Cllr Vivienne Lukey, H&F Cabinet Member for Health and Adult Social Care.

“With the range of fun activities on offer this summer I hope as many residents as possible get involved with a friend or neighbour and get those heart rates elevated.”

And for those who are less keen on sports there is Tai Chi and various walks, both likely to improve your mood. Or for the more energetic, the council is offering urban boxing and zumba.
