Open Art Spaces festival showcases local talent

Local art festival Open Art Spaces will return to Fulham with an exciting selection of free art exhibitions and events.

For the next fortnight, visitors will have exclusive access to the art and studios of around 100 talented local artists, from up-and-coming graduates to established creators.

There will be a range of studio events as well as a series of informal exhibitions hosted by artists, studios, colleges and shops, all focused on showcasing high quality fine art in Fulham.

“Open Art Spaces is all about showing how much exciting fine art is created in our local area,” said organiser Julie Brodsgaard.

“Our festival is a chance for art enthusiasts to gain exclusive access to the work of their local artists through a platform that facilitates both affordable prices and exciting encounters”.

A wide variety of art forms, from illustration to silverwork, will be included in the festival to showcase the range of exciting creative talent involved.

The festival runs from 24-26 June and 1-3 July in Fulham, as well as Kensington and Chelsea. Visitors can use the Open Art Spaces map or sign up for a guided studio tour through the website to navigate between the different venues.
