Fancy having dinner on top of White City’s Television Centre?

If so, you won’t have to wait long. Because some of London’s most exciting food and cocktail experts are coming to the roof of the former BBC car park from 26 May to the end of August.

Stalls and seating arranged around a central bar area – all sheltered beneath one of the biggest temporary pergolas in Europe – will be open Wednesday to Sundays. A retractable roof will be deployed when it rains.

Up to 400 people will be able to sit 170 feet above White City at the exciting new venue, created by the team behind Feast food festivals and Market Yard in nearby Goldhawk Road.

Charcuterie and bar Salt Yard, rotisserie LeCoq and Chelsea’s ‘wild and foraged food’ restaurant Rabbit will be serving up dishes. Gourmet burger bar Patty & Bun will join them for four weeks during that time.

“At Television Centre, we will be offering high quality independent restaurants as we open up the iconic former home of the BBC the public,” said Alistair Shaw, Managing Director of Television Centre. “We are building on the success of last year’s rooftop venue.”

The rooftop will be open between 6pm and 11pm Wednesdays to Fridays, midday to 11pm on Saturdays and midday to 9.30 pm on Sundays from 26 May. For more details visit pergolaontheroof.co.uk.
