In the latest round of results there was also a 3-0 win for Wormholt over St Mary's, a 5-0 victory for St Stephen’s over John Betts, and a 1-0 win for Wendell Park over Old Oak in last week’s matches.

In the girls’ half of the primary schools football tournament, Wormholt beat St Mary's 1-0, St Stephen’s beat John Betts, and Wendell Park overcame Old Oak by two goals to one.

Fixture build-up means tournament organisers are currently weighing up whether to push the competition’s semi-finals back a week in March, with the finals being staged a week later than planned, on 18 March in Hurlingham Park.

Schools are currently being consulted before any decision is made.
