The Brunswick Club for Young People was donated 64 toys just in time for their Christmas party, helping make the annual event the best they’ve ever had.
The club in Haldane Road, Fulham, received the gifts from In Kind Direct, a charity which distributes goods from businesses and other organisations to worthy causes.
The soft toys were donated by Disney and were handed to children attending Brunswick Club’s party on Friday 18 December.
“It was our best party yet,” said Senior Youth Worker Piers Player.
“Over 250 children and young people enjoyed football and fun inflatables, cooking, Christmas arts and crafts, pizzas and party games.
“The Disney Tiggers were the icing on the cake. A fitting end to the 70th year since the founding of the Club.”
The donation was made possible thanks to Disney Store’s partnership with In Kind Direct for their annual Disney From Our Family to Yours campaign, and was part of a total of 10,000 toys distributed by In Kind Direct to hundreds of charities in the UK, bringing Christmas joy to thousands of children.
Since joining In Kind Direct, The Brunswick Club for Young People has received hundreds of pounds worth of goods.
