North End Road Summer Market to party on

The good times at North End Road’s traffic-free market will still be in full swing long into the evening on Saturday thanks to after-parties at local pubs and restaurants.

Local pubs, bars and restaurants are joining the excitement and making the most of the fantastic celebration of summer in Fulham which is a brilliant opportunity for them to sign up new customers for the long term.

The partying will follow fun for the whole family through the day at the market, including the high-energy ZHL String Ensemble, a one man band playing cockney classics, the creative and colourful Justo the Clown, as well as striking stiltwalkers, the Damselflies.

The summer market, selling everything from delicious food to stylish clothes, is expected to draw thousands of visitors throughout the day, pumping the party vibe into the heart of Fulham.

And after the shopping comes the music, dancing and eating. A live band at The Cock Tavern and an electro swing DJ fusing the sounds of the twenties with modern dance music at The Lucky Pig are sure to get people dancing. And the more adventurous can become the entertainment at the Goose Pub by taking part in karaoke. Those preferring to sing along with a crowd can join the Bavarian brass band raising the roof at the Octoberfest Pub.

Delicious food will be available with a varied offering from pubs and restaurants. From Caribbean jerk dishes to vegan treats, there will be something to suit everyone.

And the same is true for those more interested in a tasty tipple, whether it’s craft beer or cocktails, revellers won’t need to worry about staying refreshed.

The North End Road traffic-free market has been organised by the North End Road Action Group, made up of local residents, businesses, stallholders and councillors. They are working to revive North End Road as a vibrant shopping, eating and partying destination.
