Residents are invited to a nine-day festival of fun and often unusual activities in Fulham to suit every taste from, June 27 to July 5.

Celebrating Fulham 2015 is offering a packed programme of events, kicking off with a Summer Market in a pedestrianised North End Road with 150 stalls, children’s entertainment and much more on June 27.

Rocking West Ken will celebrate the area’s musical past in a walking tour taking people back through the decades on July 4.

The Fair on the Green will treat residents and visitors to a family fun day in Parsons Green with rides, performances and over 100 stalls also on July 4.

Festival organiser Maya Donelan said, “There’s something for everyone to enjoy. Why not watch Wimbledon on a roof terrace, learn to bluff your way with French wines, join in a sing-along, see a play or a classic film or take in a concert?

“Or you could go walking with bats, explore monuments in Margravine Cemetery, take a lion house tour, go foraging for food or just stroll around Charing Cross Hospital’s unique art collection.”

Cllr Andrew Jones, cabinet member with responsibility for the local economy and the arts, said, “The council is delighted to be backing this popular Fulham festival. I hope people will enjoy themselves and let us know what they think.”

The Fulham Society is the local amenity Society, keeping an eye on what is happening with planning applicatons, parks and the river. For information, visit the Fulham Societ website or email info@fulhamsociety.org.

Celebrating Fulham 2015 is sponsored by Whole Foods Market and Aspire and supported by Hammersmith & Fulham Council.
