Councillors will question NHS bosses about the poor performance of local hospitals and their plans to improve standards at a meeting tomorrow evening.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, which runs St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington as well as Charing Cross, Hammersmith and Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea hospitals in Hammersmith & Fulham, was recently rated as “Requires Improvement” by the Care Quality Commission.

Managers from the trust, which also runs the Western Eye Hospital in Marylebone, will be appearing at the Health, Adult Social Care and Social Inclusion Policy and Accountability Committee.

The meeting will also discuss the latest A&E waiting time figures and the plans to reorganise health services in west London. It will be held in the Courtyard Room in Hammersmith Town Hall at 7pm tomorrow (Wednesday, February 4).
