If you have some experience of mentoring and would like to develop your skills further, the H&F Adult Learning and Skills Service are running a Level 2 course for the first time.
The open day will be held on Monday, January 5, at 10am at the Adult Community Learning Centre (next to Ark Swift School) in Australia Road, White City, W12 7PT.
The course begins on January 12 and would be ideal for those who have already undertaken Level 1 or have some previous experience in mentoring.
This qualification will enable you to gain a deeper understanding of the mentoring role and enable you to build on your previous experience to develop your skills further.
The skills learned on the course will be transferable to any mentoring environment. On completion of the course you could progress to training in youth work, teaching, counselling, advice and guidance or coaching.
