| Regenasis funds environmental improvements to Shepherds Bush Green incorporating the green itself and surrounding roads. The improvements prioritises pedestrian movement over car traffic, through and around the town centre and the Green. Strong emphasis is being placed on linkages to the new shopping centres and to public transport interchanges. The project provides a town centre management function for Shepherds Bush town centre, including: - taking the lead on the implementation of the approved Shepherds Bush Town Centre Strategy. - ensuring the competitiveness of the town centre is enhanced, particularly in the light of the impact of the proposed Chelsfield scheme. - supporting town centre businesses – with a particular focus on retail and hospitality. |
