Exhibition

‘Bishops Park: Fulham’s Victorian Oasis’
Opened in 1893 Bishops Park was formed from the ‘bishops meadows’ along the river side and in the days when locals were unable to take extravagant holidays, the beach area - known as Margate Sands - was a popular spot for adults and children alike.  Telling the story of the park, including paintings and engravings of Fulham from before the park opened, this exhibition celebrates the history and restoration of this much-loved local park.
Open Saturday to Wednesday 1pm – 4pm, admission free (closed 19/12 – 1/1).
