Group visits

Private group tours (minimum 10) are available year round at a cost of £6 per person.  Pre booking is required.  

Weather permitting, your tour starts outdoors looking at the history of the building and the gardens.  Moving inside you will visit the Great Hall, the Victorian Chapel, the Bishop Terrick Drawing Room and Dining Room, Bishop Sherlock's Room and end with a visit to the Museum (consisting of two rooms in the Georgian part of the Palace).

Although it is preferred that tours take place on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, they can be arranged at any time including Sunday between 1pm and 4pm.  Evening tours with appropriate refreshments are also available with special arrangement.

Tea, lunch or other refreshments can be prebooked directly with the Drawing Room Cafe on 020 7610 7160. 

Visits can be adapted for groups with particular interests or special needs.  We also offer Royal Tours and Garden Tours.  The Musuem curator and volunteers are also available to give talks about the buildings and gardens at your venue.
